Ducis and Everleigh Village Show

Don’t delay decide on a donkey today!!

 

Some people in the villages may remember the fun and excitement of the last Donkey Derby in 1995 and the donkeys at Weston-super-Mare are looking forward to their return  trip to the Ducis and Everleigh Village Show on Saturday 10 September 2011.

 

Sponsors, trainers, owners and riders for each of six races are being sought now.

 

On the day there will be a chance for a flutter on each of the races with a highly efficiently run Tote!

Even if you are too old to ride you can be involved in all the excitement.

For just £1 per race participating riders up to 14 years of age will be provided with hard hats.

There is no age limit for trainers and owners of each donkey in each race at £2 per donkey – you can book now to avoid disappointment or wait to decide on your donkey on the day.

 

There are eight donkeys in each race with an all-winners race to finish the day so don’t dilly dally, roll up, roll up for the Donkey Derby!!!
